Rivertrees’ 2022 festive season needed to feel unmistakably Rivertrees. Rustic charm with a refined finish, and a guest experience that reads as intentional across every touchpoint. The Emerald Green theme, accented with gold, beige, and white, set the standard for marketing material, print collateral, decor, and the overall atmosphere.
This work governed the full festive system. Four campaign moments were framed and promoted as a coherent set, with matching print and digital outputs. The on-property environment was then executed to match the same standard, and documented through a directed photoshoot so the story could live beyond the dates of the events.
Scope: Creative Briefing & Intent; Vendor and Partner Coordination; Sign-off and Feedback Control; Production, Print and Photoshoot Direction; On-site Execution Oversight.
— Create a single festive theme that works across marketing, menus, print, decor, and photography
— Communicate four distinct moments without visual drift (Festive Summary, Christmas Eve, Christmas and Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve)
— Produce assets for real rollout across formats (A3, A4, A6 table flyers, digital variants, multi-page menus)
— Coordinate decorator, printer, and photographer while maintaining a consistent quality standard
— Ensure the on-site setup matched the marketing promise and delivered a premium guest experience
— Established the Emerald Green theme and visual direction, then applied it across all festive outputs
— Built a four-part campaign suite. Festive Summary, Christmas Eve, Christmas and Boxing Day, and New Year’s Eve
— Created matching digital post and story variants for circulation across local mailing and community channels, plus Instagram and Facebook
— Produced print-ready files and oversaw print standards. Paper weight, finish, lamination, colour readiness, and format consistency
— Designed A6 table collateral and menu displays to keep the campaign visible at the point of experience across restaurant, bar, terrace, and bistro
— Produced two four-page dinner menus (Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve) with a book-like presentation and premium handling feel
— Appointed and guided the official decorator, reviewing inspirations and ensuring installations complemented Rivertrees’ rustic aesthetic
— Oversaw placement and timing across key guest journey points. Arrival, mini bridge, restaurant entrances, fireplace, bistro, terrace, reception, farmhouse, gift shop, and feature outdoor moments
— Sourced and negotiated the festive season photographer, then set the shoot brief, shot list, and reference inspirations
— Directed the photoshoot on-site, guiding story sequence and ensuring key decor moments and guest experience cues were captured cleanly
— Supported the New Year’s Eve communal dining setup and live band staging as the signature social moment of the season
Festive season marketing rebuilt as a consistent campaign system, designed to work across digital circulation and on-property print placements.
Visuals: Festive Summary, Christmas Eve, Christmas and Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve ads; digital post and story versions; A3 and A4 poster suite; A6 table flyers; four-page dinner menus and menu displays.
These revamps and promotions lifted restaurant revenue noticeably at a time when many businesses were still recovering. The materials spoke for themselves. They captured the Rivertrees feel in a way people often overlooked, and they helped the property stay top of mind in town.
The Emerald Green theme brought to life and documented through a directed photoshoot, showing how the concept translated into a guest-facing festive environment across the property.
Visuals: Restaurant entrance and feature moments; mini bridge decor; table settings and centrepieces; in-house crafted reindeers and Christmas trees; communal dining setup; live band staging; decor across restaurant, bistro, terrace, reception, farmhouse, and key public areas.
