A full festive season campaign and on-property experience, governed from theme and collateral to decor execution and a directed photoshoot.

Context

Rivertrees’ 2022 festive season needed to feel unmistakably Rivertrees. Rustic charm with a refined finish, and a guest experience that read as intentional across every touchpoint. The Emerald Green theme, accented with copper, cream, and burgundy, gave the season one recognisable visual thread.

Scope: campaign direction; vendor coordination; print production; photoshoot direction; on-site execution oversight.

Challenge

  • Create one festive theme that worked across marketing, menus, print, decor, and photography.
  • Communicate four distinct moments without visual drift: Festive Summary, Christmas Eve, Christmas and Boxing Day, and New Year’s Eve.
  • Keep the campaign warm and elegant without making it feel generic.
  • Direct the photoshoot so the final images matched the campaign rather than simply documenting decor.

Approach

  • Established the Emerald Green theme and applied it across all festive outputs.
  • Built a four-part campaign suite for the key festive moments.
  • Created print and digital collateral with consistent typography, colour, layout, and image use.
  • Directed the photoshoot and on-site details so the visual story matched the campaign promise.

Visuals I

Festive season marketing rebuilt as a consistent campaign system, designed to work across digital circulation and on-property print placements.

Visuals: Festive Summary, Christmas Eve, Christmas and Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve ads; digital post and story versions; A3 and A4 poster suite; A6 table flyers; four-page dinner menus and menu displays.

These revamps and promotions lifted restaurant revenue noticeably at a time when many businesses were still recovering. The materials spoke for themselves. They captured the Rivertrees feel in a way people often overlooked, and they helped the property stay top of mind in town.

Visuals II

The Emerald Green theme brought to life and documented through a directed photoshoot, showing how the concept translated into a guest-facing festive environment across the property.

Visuals: Restaurant entrance and feature moments; mini bridge decor; table settings and centrepieces; in-house crafted reindeers and Christmas trees; communal dining setup; live band staging; decor across restaurant, bistro, terrace, reception, farmhouse, and key public areas.

Outcome

  • A cohesive festive season identity carried across marketing collateral, on-property experience, and photography.
  • Four campaign ads delivered and circulated with matching print and digital variants.
  • Print production, decor direction, and shoot planning were aligned under one visual story.
  • The campaign felt like a complete guest-facing season, not separate pieces made at different times.
